Schedule a one-off appointment and check that it appears on the correct day and time. Recurring series also require a frequency review and are outside this guide.
Before you start
Enter the organization and center where you want to work.
Have a patient record and an active service ready.
Check that you can schedule appointments and select the relevant professional.
1. Open the appointment form
Open Brelio and enter Calendar. Use Appointment or New Appointment to open Schedule Appointment.
2. Select the patient, service and professional
Search for and select the patient. Check that you chose the correct record.
Select the service, which supplies the initial appointment duration.
Select the professional who will provide the care.
3. Review the date, time and duration
Check the date, time and duration. Use Edit to change the service’s default duration if needed. For a one-off appointment, ensure no recurring frequency is selected.
Review the day preview before saving. If an overlap warning appears, review the time and center settings before proceeding.
4. Review billing and reminders
If Brelio requests a billing option, choose the appropriate one. Pending decision leaves the decision for review; it is different from No charge. Review the billing recipient if requested.
Check the appointment’s reminder configuration. Delivery through a particular channel depends on settings and available contact details.
5. Schedule and check
Select Schedule Appointment. Find the appointment in Calendar and open it to check the patient, professional, service and time.
Scheduling reserves the time. It does not mean care has been provided or the session should be marked completed.
Troubleshooting
Patient missing: check the search text and organization; avoid creating a duplicate.
Service missing: make sure it is active and not archived.
Cannot continue: check highlighted fields and pending billing or recipient choices.
Saved appointment missing: check the date and professional filters before creating it again.
